First team lose 3-0 away to Wrington Redhill Reserves

Locking Park lost their first game of the season away to Wrington Redhill Reserves in tricky conditions.

Wrington didn’t take long to get on the scoresheet going 1-0 up within 15 minutes. The next came on 40 when a Wrington free kick from the right was headed well into the top corner just passed Locking keeper Ian Allchorne.

The third came from a mistake in the Park defence with players getting in each other’s way, only for the ball to fall to a Wrington forward who calmly finished to make it 3-0.

In the second half conditions worsened but good performances by the likes of Darrel Capille and Harry Hornigold nearly got Park back in the game, the keeper and the woodwork getting in the way. Man of the match went to Ben Hollow.
