First team put 6 past Wedmore

Locking Park bounced back from a disappointing cup loss last week in emphatic fashion, winning 6-0 at home versus Wedmore.

Park drew first blood on 14 minutes. Jack Poole chasing a long ball down the right flank and putting a pin-point cross into the box to Aaron Blakemore who headed home well. Wedmore dug in for the rest of the half and the score stayed 1-0 until half time.

Locking started the second half well, Blakemore getting his second on 60 minutes smashing a left footed shot passed the away keeper assisted by Kev Cosham. Ten minutes later the front two of Blakemore and Ryan Harris combined well to put Harris through for his first of the game. Harris doubled his tally on 75, finishing from a looping a ball to the back post from Kev Cosham. Cosham got his third assist on 85, a ball down the left finding Aaron Blakemore to curl in a lovely right footed shot to seal his perfect hat-trick. Harris then completed his hat-trick on 88, once again assisted by Kev Cosham.

An outstanding team performance performance from Locking Park to get through to the Semi Finals of the Atwell Shield. CES Man of the Match went to Aaron Blakemore, closely followed by Ryan Harris and Kev Cosham.
