Park got back to winning ways with an emphatic win over fellow promotion hopefuls Congresbury.
They took the lead after just two minutes when Chris Green put Matty Hollow through to open the scoring. Park doubled their lead not long after Kyle Hobden was set free down the left and a delightful ball across the box found Matty Hollow again. The third goal came not long again after that, Dan Cook playing a one-two with Chris Green before finishing nicely from an acute angle. The game was never in doubt with Ben Hollow and the returning and impressive Mike Bollard running the midfield. The 4th goal came shortly before half-time when a Ben Hollow through ball set his brother Matt through and he lobbed the ball over the keeper who was in no man’s land to complete a first half hat trick.
The second half was a more dour affair which was to be expected. Park kept looking to create chances but were unable to score any more goals. The back line of Jon Rowsell, Paul Sharp, Lyndon Cook and Mike Page, in front of Dave Bordon were looking impenetrable, however a dodgy penalty decision allowed Congresbury to score to make it 4-1.
Man of the match went to Matty Hollow for a welcome hat trick.
