First team comfortably win at home

Locking Park overcame struggling Cleeve West Town Reserves at home 4-1.

The scoring was opened by Joe Pearson heading in a corner on 23 and the returning Ryan Harris made it 2-0 just before half time.

Cleeve got a goal back at the beginning of the second half but Locking replied straight away, Harris getting his second of the game. After terrorising the away defence for most of the match Harry Hornigold got a deserved goal to finished Cleeve off, capitalising on a pin-point cross from Mike Green.

A solid performance by Locking; making use of a 3-5-2 formation and using the width well. The score could’ve been more with amongst others Pearson hitting the woodwork. Special mentions for Somers Counsel and C. Erison Man of the Match Harry Hornigold.
