Locking Park Reserves got back to winning ways with an emphatic 4-0 win away to league leaders Congresbury.
They took the lead just a minute in when Josh Randall played a ball through to Kyle Hobden who snuck in off the wing to find space to score. Park were awarded a penalty after 20 minutes when Chris Green was fouled, and Kyle Hobden stepped up to calmly slot home.
Congresbury came back into the game then, with Locking giving away a lot of needless set pieces, which they ultimately dealt with. Park went in 3-0 up at the break when in the last minute of the first half, a Kyle Hobden free kick was put in by Josh Randall to more or less wrap up the points.
The second half wasn’t as exciting as the first, with Congresbury realising the game was beyond them. Locking were able to sit back and defend and hit their opponents on the break. They made it 4-0 midway from the first half when a Kyle Hobden free kick was taken under control by Josh Randall who cleverly laid it off to Dan Cook to score.
Man of the match went to Kyle Hobden for an impressive all round attacking display, with notable mentions for Lyndon Cook, Josh Randall and Ross Radford.
